Throughout the series, Ornamo’s lawyer Iiris Adenius and her international guests will guide you through the essentials of intellectual property rights, key negotiation tactics, and practical tips to help elevate both you and your business. In this final session of our webinar series, Ornamo’s lawyer Rosa Joensuu will be joined by Gailė Sakalaitė, Leader of the Designs Legal Reform Team at the EUIPO Legal Affairs Department, and Paula de Andrés Gómez, Partner and European Design Attorney at Berggren, to provide insights into the new design legislation and explain how you can benefit from it to protect and grow your design business. The reform will, for example, simplify the process and reduce the cost of registering designs, while also enabling the registration of animations, as well as digital and virtual designs.
